What happens if a piece of BHT installed equipment goes bad? A client recently had a Universal Remote Control ( http://www.universalremote.com ) go bad. I can only think of two other times this happened, but both times in the past the client or their cleaning staff had dropped them. In this case it appeared to be a short.
To facilitate things we sent over a messenger to pick up the bad remote and sent over a full programmed new remote from stock. We will deal with the RMA number and sending the remote back to the manufacturer and getting a new one. It should take about 2 weeks.
In the meantime our client was out about a day without the remote.

BEYOND EXTRAORDINARY. There are no words to fully covey my total experience with Bright Home Theater from initial contact to the "diagnostic" home visit to the system plan to the installation, teaching and ongoing relationship. It is such a rare occurrence to find a company "nowadays" that is not only completely service and customer oriented, but the professionalism, state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and design mastery are unparalleled. I've had experiences in the past with very high-end companies that were interested in maximizing component sales, but service and installation which determines satisfaction with operability were sorely lacking, to be polite. With Bright Home Theater, I felt "part of the family" from my first phone call. Even scheduling the first appointment was a pleasure. As soon as Radek arrived to evaluate the AV issues in the apartment I knew I was in the presence of a youthful yet old world gentlemanly professional. After a about an hour I realized I was with the Jony Ive of home theater. Radek has an beautiful taste aesthetic and a top engineer's brilliance. This company "gets it". Throughout the process I was kept constantly updated by friendly emails from Sidney and when installation day arrived, a host of professionals arrived and with the utmost care brought in the components. Their coordination with Time Warner was even seamless. Radek managed and executed much of the project and Eric was tireless, talented, and very pleasant. I know I can count on Sidney to manage follow-up, and Radek just left after putting the finishing touches on a very idiosyncratic set-up in one of the rooms, elegantly incorporating several old components. The tangible WOW of this experience is the look on friends and family's faces when they see the new spectacular TV set up in another room with NOT ONE ancillary component or wire visible !!!!! But all 4 sites worked on are perfect and soooooo easy and intuitive to use---as well as the added bonus of having wifi boosted throughout the apartment. But the biggest WOW of all is the confidence and satisfaction I feel that I have gotten superb service at a very reasonable price from a group of people who understand what makes a business great and understand that taking pride in professionalism and excellence are still ideals to be embraced.
